Who we are

White Flamingo Consulting Ltd (Company No. 16475284) is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our registered office is 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ. You can contact us at hello@whiteflamingoconsulting.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

We only collect what we need for each of the following.

• The Growth Diagnostic. Your name, email address, company, turnover range and your answers, which produce your scores. We use these to build your personal report, to email it to you, and to follow up with you about it.
• The contact form. Your name, email address, company (if you give it) and your message. We use these to reply to your enquiry.
• The mailing list. Your email address, when you subscribe through the sign-up in our website footer. We use it to send our occasional emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• Booking a call. The details you give when booking through Calendly, such as your name, email address and any notes. We use these to hold and prepare for the call.
• Emails from us. Your name, email address and whether you open or click our emails. We use these to send you your report, to reply to you and, where you have agreed, to send occasional insights.
• Using this website. Basic technical information such as your browser and which pages you view, through cookies and similar tools. See the cookies section below.

Our lawful bases

• Consent, for sending you your diagnostic report, our mailing list and any other marketing emails. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interests, for replying to enquiries and running and improving our business, where this does not override your rights.
• Contract, if you become a client, to deliver our services.
• Legal obligation, for example to keep accounting records.

Your report link

Your report is saved as a PDF in a private folder in our Google Drive, and the link we email you opens it. Anyone who has the link can open the report, so please do not forward it unless you are happy for the person to see your answers.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We use trusted providers to run our business, who process it on our instructions:

• MailerLite, for our email lists and emails.
• Google (Google Workspace, Drive and Apps Script), for building and storing your report and sending alerts to us.
• Calendly, for booking calls.
• Microsoft 365, for our business email.
• IONOS, for hosting this website.
• Specialists from our network, only where we need them to deliver work for you and with your agreement.

International transfers

Some of these providers process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK-US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries and booking details: up to 12 months after our last contact with you.
• Diagnostic answers and reports: up to 12 months.
• Email list details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Client and accounting records: for the period the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. You can also withdraw consent at any time, and unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email. To do any of these, email hello@whiteflamingoconsulting.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website only sets analytics cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, none are set, and we only remember your choice in your browser so that we do not ask again. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.

• Google Analytics (GA4). Only if you accept. The cookies are named _ga and _ga_ERFQ7QXEBS and last up to two years. They tell us how many people visit, which pages they view and how they found us. The information is processed by Google and does not identify you by name.
• Google Fonts. The typeface used on this site is loaded from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. No cookies are set for this.
• Calendly. If you book a call, you move to Calendly’s own website, which has its own cookie notice.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
